We don’t want to start your break by giving you a list of dos & don’ts but please try and familiarise yourself with the below site information and rules. They are displayed at reception, on the noticeboard and at the toilet & shower blocks, and are for the benefit of everyone.
- Reception Reception is open at 9am each day. Out of hours, please contact the onsite wardens. Emergency contact numbers are also displayed in the reception.
- Pitching upTo maintain an adequate fire safety gap and to be able to connect your caravan/motorhome grey waste to the drain, please position your car on the left with your unit over the drain and your awning on the right. Tents must remain within the boundaries of their allocated pitch and maintain a 2 metre gap between tents. Only one car per pitch.
- Security barrierThe barrier is to ensure your security and safety, the barrier fob is for your use only. You will need to use the fob every time you enter and exit the park. The barrier can be opened between 7am & 11pm. Outside of these times please leave your car in the reception car park and walk to your pitch/accommodation.
- Motor vehiclesThere is a 5 mph speed limit across the park. Car & caravan washing is not permitted on site.
- PetsDogs must not be left unattended during your stay and must be kept on a lead, except where stated. Cats must have a bell on their collar during their stay. Please clean up after your pets and ensure it does not cause a danger or disturbance to other guests. Dog friendly information for the local area can be found in reception. Some accommodation units do not allow pets so please check before booking.
- FishingAnyone wishing to fish must first pay at reception before setting up. Please ensure you have a valid fishing licence on you as you may be asked to present this to a member of staff or inspector. A full list of fishing rules can be found on our website, in reception & positioned around the lakes.
- Fires / BBQsNo fires, fire pits, fireworks or Chinese lanterns of any kind are permitted on site. Charcoal & gas BBQs are allowed but must be raised off the ground.
- SmokingAll public areas and all accommodation units are strictly no smoking, this includes vaping.
- Quiet timePlease be considerate of other guests and keep music and noise to a minimum. After 11pm we request quiet time across the park. We will not tolerate any persistent noise, nuisance or unruly behaviour. Anyone found to be causing a problem will be asked to leave without a refund. The Park Manager’s decision is final.
- EmergenciesIn the event of a fire, please evacuate to the emergency assembly point next to the site reception building. In the event of discovering a fire, please raise the alarm by ringing the bells located on the fire points around the site. Emergency contact numbers are displayed in the reception door during closed hours.
- Toilets / showersPlease supervise young children in the toilet and shower area and ensure you close the door after entering/departing. The toilet blocks will be cleaned several times daily and may be closed temporarily at this time. We ask you to please leave the shower areas as you would hope to find them.
- Waste disposalThere are 4 points around the site for the disposal of general waste and recycling. Separate bins are available for general waste, glass, paper/cardboard and hot ashes. Each area also has a chemical toilet and grey waste disposal point. All lodge, pod & Hideaway guests are asked to empty their bins appropriately on their departure.
- Ball gamesThese are not permitted around caravans/tents/pods etc. Please use the play area.
- Wi-FiTo connect find ‘Woodhall Country Park’ in your Wi-Fi listings, you will be requested to register your details with Camping Connect who run the service for the whole site.
- VisitorsVisitors are welcome between the hours of 9am & 9pm. Please ask your visitors to report to reception and sign-in upon arrival. Visitors will be required to leave their car in the car park.
- DepartureTouring & camping: Please vacate your pitch by 11am on the day of departure. If you wish to stay longer, please speak with reception on the morning of departure. A late stay can normally be arranged providing the pitch is not booked out for another customer.
Pods & Hideaways: Please vacate your accommodation by 10am on the day of departure. Please leave the accommodation clean and tidy and dispose of all rubbish.
Lodges: Please vacate your accommodation by 10am on the day of departure. Please leave the accommodation clean and tidy and dispose of all rubbish.
If you wish to depart when reception is closed, keys & fobs can be put through the reception letter box.
